Apra Curry House

Our story

About us

Apra Curry House is a small, family-run kitchen on Banna Avenue — Griffith's main street. We cook the food we grew up with: Punjabi curries built on slow-cooked onions and whole spices, breads baked to order in a proper clay tandoor, and biryanis layered the traditional way.

Nothing on our menu comes out of a packet. Dals simmer for hours, paneer dishes are finished fresh for every order, and the tandoor runs all day — from the first naan at lunch to the last roti at night.

Griffith has been good to us, and feeding this community seven days a week is something we don't take for granted. Whether it's a quick samosa on your lunch break or a family spread on a Friday night, we cook it like it's going to our own table.
